Gail Fox began her artistic journey as a small child. Growing up in Chicago with easy access to the Art Institute, she became motivated to take every art class she could in high school and her degree at UW-Stout. After graduation she picked up her first SLR camera and continued to grow her artistic eye through photography. Gail is inspired daily by the natural beauty God has created, and seeks to share that beauty and awe with others by capturing special moments in time. She also draws inspiration from architecture and beautiful man-made objects. Her artwork comes from her travels whether they are across the ocean, the country, our beautiful state, or from her backyard.
Her artwork can be seen at the Heyde Center for the Arts at the Spring Art Show and the Valley Art Association Show. She is very active in the community and is involved in the Valley Art Association, the Chippewa Valley Master Gardeners, and the Lake Wissota Garden Club.
