Photography has been his primary activity since retiring in 2013 from UW-Stout after twenty-three years of teaching accounting and information system courses in Tennessee, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Prior to the teaching career Steve spent twenty years working for AT&T in various information systems operational and financial management positions.
Interest in photography began after attending an Ansel Adams lecture in 1978. Over the years Steve utilized black-white films, color film, and color slides until he converted to a digital SLR camera system in 2008. His photography since retirement is about making photographs as he roams about the great outdoors.
