Graduating in 1973 from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in comprehensive art, I taught junior high art in the seventies and eighties. I took up watercolor for the first time since college in 2000. Since then I have been in various art shows, including the Yellowstone Art Trail and the juried Arts West show in which my pieces were selected both times I entered.
With camera in hand, I am always looking for unique subjects to incorporate into my paintings. I love painting nature. I get great satisfaction when a painting is complete. I am very happy when people enjoy my work.
It is often difficult to find the time to do everything I want to do, especially in the summer, as I am also an avid gardener, growing both flowers and vegetables.
